Working for God Through Art

My name is Peter, and I am grateful for the chance to share my story. What I do today started as something very small and personal, but over time I came to see it as part of my calling. I create Christian wall art, not simply as a way to make a living, but as a way to serve God and encourage other believers in their daily lives.

For most of my life I believed in God without question. Faith always made sense to me. When I look at the world around us, the mountains, the trees, the sunlight, the ocean, I see the work of a Creator. Nature has always been one of the ways God speaks to me. There is too much beauty for it to be an accident. We were made not only to live in this world, but to notice it, enjoy it, and give thanks for it.

Even with that belief, I never thought my work and my faith would come together. I used to think business and religion should stay separate. I believed a Christian should be honest, kind, and fair, but I did not think my job itself could be part of my service to God. For many years my faith stayed in church, in prayer, and in my private life, while my work stayed in the world.

That changed in a simple moment.

One day I wanted to put a Bible verse on my wall. I wanted something that would remind me of God every day, not only on Sunday. I started looking for artwork with Scripture, something beautiful that I would be proud to have in my home. I searched for a long time and could not find anything that felt right. Either the design did not inspire me, or the message did not feel personal.

That is when the idea came to me. If I wanted this kind of art, maybe other Christians wanted it too.
I began creating my own pieces like Christian metal wall art, using Bible verses that had helped me in difficult times. I paired them with images of nature, because nature is one of the clearest ways I see the hand of God. The goal was simple. I wanted people to look at their walls and feel peace, encouragement, and faith.

Through this work I discovered something I had never understood before. My work could be part of my faith. Creating art could be a way of serving. Selling something could still honor God if the purpose was to bring hope, beauty, and truth into people’s homes.

My mission is simple. I want to bring people closer to God through beauty. I want believers to be reminded of His Word not only when they open the Bible, but when they sit in their living room, walk into their office, or start their day at home.

I do not see this as a business first. I see it as a responsibility. God gives each of us different gifts, and I believe this is one of mine.

If my art can help someone feel encouraged, remember a verse, or think about God for even a moment during a busy day, then I know I am doing the work I was meant to do.
