Dr Chuck Stecker

Rev. Chuck Stecker is the Founder and President of A Chosen Generation, a ministry dedicated to developing strong leaders and helping churches build healthy intergenerational communities. An ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance, Chuck holds a Doctorate of Ministry specializing in Christian Leadership. Chuck served 23 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after holding numerous leadership and staff positions, including three years on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. Following his military career, he served for three years with Promise Keepers as Regional Director of the South-Central Region. In 1997, he founded Mission Capable Men and, in 2000, launched A Chosen Generation. Drawing from his experience in business, military leadership, and ministry, Chuck equips churches and leaders to intentionally develop the next generation. He is especially passionate about helping churches become truly intergenerational and creating pathways that keep young adults connected, growing in their faith, and developing as leaders. Chuck has spoken across the United States and internationally on intergenerational ministry, strategic leadership, mentoring and coaching, rites of passage, men’s ministry, character, and integrity. His teaching has influenced churches, schools, businesses, and military communities. He is the author of Men of Honor & Women of Virtue: Raising Kids to Keep the Faith and a contributing author to Effective Men’s Ministry: The Indispensable Toolkit for Your Church. He has also taught at Denver Seminary and Christ for the Nations Institute. Chuck and his wife, Billie, live in Littleton, Colorado. They have three grown children and three granddaughters.
